My name is
INKYEONG
or you can call me IK.
IK?
Yes, I know. It sounds like “I know,” and I like when people think I do.
Half of me is Seoul. The other half is 🗽
I didn’t always have the words, so I learned to speak in visuals.
PHOTOSHOP taught me patience. Oh, and layers. Mostly layers.
There’s a reason I keep opening ADOBE I have so many ideas I want to bring to life, so most my days start and end there.
ILLUSTRATOR when I want clean curves, chaotic grids, or to wrestle with the pen tool.
LATE NIGHTS Not just to finish. I’m the type who can’t stop until it feels right.
Things always fade, but I make mine for 💭
Not just to be seen, but to be remembered.
EMOTIONlaid into layout, soaked in color, and left behind in feeling.
Started as a joke. Became a habit. Now it's a visual signature.

Branding / Packaging / Visual Identity
Reminiscent is a fictional perfume brand that captures the emotional bond between scent and memory. This project translates that idea into a visual identity using soft tones, minimal layouts, and a calming design system.
To build a cohesive identity around three fragrance concepts: Summer Rain, Bubbly Memories, and Resting in the Ocean, each representing a different kind of emotional landscape.
Approach
- Developed a logo symbol that visualizes the intersection of space, scent, and memory using three overlapping circles
- Chose a gentle serif typeface to communicate a calm and nostalgic tone
- Designed color-coded packaging and layout system to highlight the distinct personality of each fragrance
- Created mockups for posters and a web interface to present the brand’s atmosphere across platforms

Branding / Packaging / Visual Identity
Loop is a fictional tableware brand that repurposes used coffee grounds into sustainable products. This self-initiated project explores how visual identity can express both environmental values and product functionality. The concept centers on giving waste a second life, putting what we once drank back on the table.
To design a brand system that feels natural, minimal, and circular. The goal was to reflect the product’s recycled origin and encourage mindful consumption.
Approach
- Created a custom logotype inspired by the infinity loop and spoon silhouette
- Selected an earthy color palette and warm neutrals to express sustainability and calm
- Paired serif and sans-serif fonts (Playfair & Pretendard) to balance elegance with clarity
- Designed packaging with bold type and clean layouts to emphasize product purpose
-
Developed a website mockup to visualize the customer journey and product story

Social Media Design / Esports Graphics / Personal Project
This self-initiated project reimagines social media graphics for PUBG esports teams based on fan perspective. Specifically, I created redesigns for Team Danawa (KR) and Soniqs (NA), two well-known organizations competing in the PUBG Global Series. While both teams had strong in-game identities, their existing social media visuals lacked consistency and didn’t fully match their team vibes. I aimed to bridge that gap through bold, expressive designs.
To create fan-made visuals that reflect each team’s in-game personality and appeal to their fanbase, while maintaining esports standards of clarity and impact.
Approach
- Designed two tailored sets of graphics: one for Danawa, one for Soniqs
- For Danawa, emphasized their aggressive and youthful gameplay using saturated neon yellow, graffiti-style tags, and playful emojis
- For Soniqs, adopted a modern, futuristic look inspired by their use of memes and neon colors like emerald and violet
- Focused on visual consistency across matchday graphics, MOM (Man of the Match), and result posts
- Replaced inconsistent or underwhelming posts with styles that reflect team energy, for better fan connection
- This self-initiated project was shared with the coach of Team Danawa, who responded positively, saying the visual direction reminded him of global esports teams from Europe and Japan.

Branding / Typography / Visual Identity
This fictional branding project was created for a typography class at The City College of New York. The brief was to choose an architect and design a lecture series around their work. I selected Hyunjoon Yoo, a Korean architect known for blending simplicity with precision.
To build a visual identity that merges architectural logic with graphic design, making an unfamiliar name feel structured, intentional, and recognizable.
Approach
- Built a typographic logo using construction-style grid lines, curves, and measurement symbols
- Used Yoo’s architectural works as minimal illustrations to reflect his design language
- Created a consistent brand system across posters, leaflets, ID cards, and lanyards
- Chose light gray and red as primary colors to convey clarity and cohesion
